IIFT Exam Date - Application and Results Dates

A top B-school in the country, IIFT (Indian Institute of Foreign Trade), conducts a national-level entrance examination for MBA courses. The institute offers its flagship Global master of business administration in International Business based on an autonomous entrance test (IIFT). There are four campuses of IIFT — three in India — Delhi, Kolkata, and Kakinada, and the Dar-es-Salaam campus in Tanzania.

IIFT's Delhi and Kolkata campuses offer MBA IB programs, with over 500 seats approved. It also takes part in international collaborations and student exchange programmes. In addition to engineering, commerce, humanities, law, and other disciplines, around 60,000 students take the IIFT admission test every year. The result of the IIFT MBA entrance exam conducted on December 18, 2022, is yet to be announced. The GD and PI will be held in February or March 2023 after the declaration of results.

IIFT Exam – Application Process

• The IIFT Application Form will be available in the first week of September 2023, and applicants can apply online or offline.
• Candidates can apply online through IIFT's official website or purchase offline applications in cash or by DD from the counter or the post office.
• In offline submissions, candidates should mail the application envelopes to the following address.
• For further reference, applicants should keep a photocopy of the duly filled out application form and DD (offline submissions).

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants of any age are eligible to take the IIFT exam.
• Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree from a recognised university in any discipline.
• Applicants in their final year are also eligible to apply (provided they can provide proof of requisite qualifications by October 2023).

IIFT Exam Pattern

• IIFT exam will only take place in offline mode in English.
• The exam duration will be two hours.
• There will be 123 questions on the question paper. Exam patterns change every year, however.
• Each section of the question paper will have a different marking scheme.
• If you choose the wrong option, you will lose 1/3 of your score.

IIFT MBA Exam Date – Admit Card

• Provisionally registered applicants will receive their admit cards by mail.
• Candidates can download their admit cards online by logging into their accounts on the official IIFT website.
• Applicants can only enter the test centre with a valid IIFT admit card.
• For verification purposes, carry a photo ID as well.
• You may use the following forms of identification: passport, election ID, college ID, driving licence or PAN Card.

IIFT Exam Result

• IIFT will announce the results of the written exam online at its official website.
• Applicants must enter their seven-digit Roll Number and Date of Birth to download their scorecards.
• The shortlisted applicants are eligible for the next round of the admission process at IIFT.
• There will be no postal delivery of the scorecard.

IIFT Answer Key

After 2-3 days of successful completion of the examination, the answer key will be available on the official IIFT website. The answer key will provide an idea of the approximate marks applicants will receive for the IIFT exam.

Cutoff

• The IIFT exam cutoff is the minimum score applicants must get for shortlisting in each section.
• Shortlisted applicants will participate in the next selection round based on the IIFT cutoff.
• The applicants should clear both the sectional and overall cutoffs to get shortlisted.
