JEE Main Exam Pattern 2023

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is in charge of administering the JEE Main 2023 exam. Students should be aware that JEE Main consists of two papers:

• Paper 1: For acceptance to the Bachelor of Technology/Bachelor of Engineering programme (Engineering)
• Paper 2A: For acceptance to the B. Arch programme (Architecture)

Note: The IIT JEE Main syllabus is highly uncertain. As a result, students must try to complete the entire syllabus without exception.

Analysis of Previous Year JEE Main Syllabus

• Experts found the questions in the Physics section more calculative than theoretical. Overall, the test section had a moderate difficulty level and length. 
• Chemistry was the easiest of the three sections. The questions were more theoretical and direct, making this section the quickest to complete. 
• Students regarded the Mathematics section as the most difficult, owing to its length. 
• The overall difficulty of the JEE Main syllabus questions was easy to moderate.

• Which chapters have more weightage in JEE Mains 2023?

• Can I skip organic chemistry for JEE?

Out of the 25 chemistry questions, around 8-10 arise from the Organic section. Skipping these questions is perfectly fine, provided that your mathematics and physics are so strong that you can write 17 out of 25 correct in each.
