NIMCET Exam Eligibility
The NITs in charge of holding the exam have established the NIMCET Test Eligibility Criteria. To take the exam, the candidate must meet the qualifying requirements set by the official authorities. The following provides more information regarding NIMCET eligibility:
- Candidates must hold a degree in mathematics or statistics which has the duration of at least three years of full-time study. This might include a BCA degree, B.Sc degree or BIT degree.
- Along with this, students with a B.E. or B.Tech degree or an exam that is an equivalent, from a recognised university, can also apply for NIMCET Exam.
- Indian national applicants must have obtained at least 60% overall or 6.5/10 CGPA in order to be considered for the exam. For SC and ST applicants the marks obtained must be at least 55% overall or 6.0/10 CGPA.
NIMCET Exam Registration
The registration process for the NIMCET Exam consists of the following steps:
- Go to the official website of NIMCET
- Enter your personal mobile number and email ID to register
- Once you click on ‘submit’ an email will be sent to your email address

- Upload the scanned images of the signature and photograph in the mentioned format
- Make the payment of the application form
- A unique application number will be generated along with the complete application form
